Catalytic cracking is one of the key production processes in refineries. With the continuous advancement of catalytic cracking technology and the increasing depth of petroleum processing, the proportion of blended residue oil is constantly increasing, making the feed-stock for catalytic cracking increasingly complex and heavier. Due to the deterioration of feed-stock properties, poly-cyclic aromatic hydrocarbon condensates and catalyst particles formed during processing deposit in the slurry system, leading to increasingly serious scaling and blockage problems. This often results in reduced production or even unplanned shutdowns.
